Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an Olympic gold medalist in gymnastics she took America to victory in both 2012 and 2016. U.S. to victory in both 2012 and 2016. Aly Raisman is the proud owner of seven Olympic medals, and two World Championships gold medals. Aly is from Needham within Massachusetts. Her passion for the sport of gymnastics is traceable to an 18-month old "mommy with me" class. Aly is an inspirational leader both on and off the floor and an unwavering proponent of body positivity. She was also recently, as she was vocal about Larry Nassar in his sentencing trial. Aly was born on the 24th of April, 1994. Aly Raisman started gymnastics in her early years and was a part of her U.S. gymnastics team win the 2011 World Championships. The year 2012 saw Raisman win two gold medals during the London Olympics One at the team event as well as an individual one in floor exercise - as well as an Olympic bronze medal on the beam. In the year 2016 Raisman returned to the Olympics in Rio and won silver medals for the individual all-around final as well as floor exercise and gold in the women's gymnastics team competition. In 2017, Raisman revealed she had suffered sexual assault at the hands of former team doctor Larry Nassar, and the following year she sued USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee.
